# 1045  Spencerport 13 - HFL 10

Spencerport scored the first two goals of the contest and with the exception of fifteen seconds in the first quarter, led or tied for the entire game. The Rangers won 13-10 and were led by attackmen Kasey Olsen (5g) and Colin Mcelligott (2g-6a). Of the thirteen goals, only two were by midfielders the rest were scored by the remaining attackmen: Ryan Schirano (3g) and Brandon Ellis (1g-1a). In the cage for the Rangers, Connor MacKenzie finished with eight saves. Midfielder Andrew Forte finished with a team leading 11 ground balls and was 14/26 (54%) at the face off draw.

Webster Schroeder scored the lone goal of the fourth quarter in order to defeat HF-L 9-8. The Warriors trailed at the start of the second quarter but scored four unanswered goals spanning into the third quarter to keep the game close. During the second half, the teams traded goals four times in a row.

# 954  Big Save by Kelly Gives Win to HF-L

NOTES: Bryce Kelly made his 100th save of the season with seconds left on the clock to secure the 9-8 win for HF-L over Brighton. The Cougar scored the last four goals of the contest and held Brighton scoreless for the final 16:48 in their win. Kelly had an impressive game between the pipes with twelve saves and finished at 60%. Offensively, the Cougars looked to midfielder Alex Mapstone (4g-2a), attackmen Ryan Kelly (2g-2a) and Tim Breau (2g-2a). All nine of the goals by the Cougars were assisted goals.

The All Star list is out recognizing the Monroe County League players for the 2014 season. Senior midfielder Eric Munn (Canandaigua) and defenseman Nick Panara (Pittsford) were named US Lacrosse Academic All Americans. Junior midfielder Kevin Hill (Thomas) along with senior attackmen Trevor Hodgins (Churchville-Chili), Justin Kesselring (Fairport-A/M) and Stephen Quinzi (Pittsford) were selected as US Lacrosse All Americans.

HF-L scored the final three goals to defeat Livonia 6-5. This was the first contest between Livonia and HF-L. The game had four lead changes and was tied at 1, 2, 3, and 5. With the win, HF-L snapped their five game losing streak and improved their record to 3-5. Livonia started the scoring with a man-up goal from Reid Mattle (assisted by Nick Kallio). T

Senior midfielder Kevin Hill (Thomas), attackman, Connor Hulme (Canandaigua) and Long Stick Defenseman Allen Thibodeau (Fairport) were named US Lacrosse Academic All Americans. Senior midfielder Brandon Barker (Pittsford) along with senior attackman Max Spaan (Penfield) and senior goalie Willie Klan (Penfield) selected as US Lacrosse All Americans. Juniors Jared Conners(Pittsford-LSM), T.D. Ierlan (Victor mid/fo) and Jamie Trimboli (Victor - mid) were also named as US Lacrosse All Americans.
